Telehealth is a proposed collaboration between Huawei, Griffith University Allied Health Clinics and JCU. Huawei (a mobile device manufacturer) is pioneering a very low power telecommunications chip to be included in health monitoring devices built by engineers at JCU. Those devices (primarily blood pressure and insulin monitors) are to be installed into a network for use within the Griffith University Gold Coast precinct.
The Telehealth application is intended to ingest records from those health devices and combine them with management processes for Allied Health Clinic staff to contact patients.
My contribution to the project was an application and infrastructure design.
